Guba

This piece is inspired by the motifs of the Pirabadil carpet, named after Pirabadil village in the Guba region. It stands as one of the most renowned examples of the Guba carpet-making school. The ancient capital of the Guba Khanate, this area is not only one of Azerbaijan’s most beautiful cities but also a hub of carpet-making and craftsmanship. Distinctive patterned compositions in various carpet styles are crafted in this region.
