Endless Knot

This piece draws inspiration from two similar motifs: the “endless knot” and “ram’s horns.” These designs have been extensively featured in oriental carpets as filler motifs, particularly in Azerbaijani carpets, like in the Talish borders and Pirabedil carpet. The earrings are further adorned with S-symbol motifs, believed to represent a channelled flow of water, symbolizing an improved way of life or alternatively, standing for fertility and immortality.
