Pomegranate

Pomegranates serve as one of history’s most potent symbols, deeply embedded in various traditions and major religions. In Judaism, the pomegranate signifies righteousness, believed to contain 613 seeds, which correspond to the 613 mitzvot, or commandments, of the Torah. This fruit also symbolizes fruitfulness, knowledge, and wisdom. In Christianity, it represents resurrection and the hope of eternal life. In Chinese culture, pomegranates are associated with fertility due to their numerous seeds. References to pomegranates also appear in the Qur’an, with legend claiming each pomegranate contains a seed from paradise.
