Tovuz

This design draws inspiration from the emblem of Tovuz and the ancient Tovuz carpets. Despite Tovuz’s recent designation as a city, it stands as one of Azerbaijan’s oldest regions of human settlement, historically home to indigenous populations. This heritage is evidenced by numerous ancient monuments found in the area, along with the unique patterns and images discovered on antique plates during archaeological excavations. The jewelry also symbolically incorporates Ashuq music, a vital aspect of Tovuz folklore and culture, featuring the national musical instrument, the ‘Saz’.
