Aghsu
This model draws inspiration from images found on copper artifacts unearthed in Aghsu. First mentioned in the 16th century as a hub of trade and craftsmanship, Aghsu yielded numerous craft workshops during archaeological digs. Artisans imported copper and iron, skillfully cutting, carving, hammering, and melting them to create diverse products for the market. A forged copper piece in the shape of a buta (paisley) featuring a carved image of a man has garnered particular attention. This image, elements of which are incorporated into the model, is believed to depict one of the city’s distinguished warriors.
