Endless Knot

This piece draws inspiration from two similar motifs: the “endless knot” and the “ram’s horns.” These motifs are commonly featured as filler designs in oriental rugs and Azerbaijani carpets, such as the Talish borders and the Pirabedil carpet. The earrings are also adorned with S-symbol motifs, which symbolize a channelled flow of water, hinting at an enhanced way of life or alternatively representing fertility and immortality.
