Endless Knot

This piece draws inspiration from two motifs: the “endless knot” and the “ram’s horns.” These designs are traditional fillers in oriental rugs and Azerbaijani carpets, such as the Talish borders and Pirabedil carpet. The earrings also feature S-symbol motifs, believed to symbolize the funnelled flow of water, suggesting an enhanced way of life, or alternatively, representing fertility and immortality.
