This jewelry piece draws inspiration from the patterns of the Malibeyli carpet, part of the Shusha group from the Garabagh carpet-making school. Named after a village near Shusha, Malibeyli carpets have a rich history. While the village’s men focused on cattle-breeding and agriculture, the women specialized in carpet weaving. The jewelry’s five-shape patterns trace their roots to Uyghur and Chinese art, seamlessly blending with Azerbaijani popular art and culture, influenced by the community’s religious beliefs and lifestyle.
