These earrings are inspired by one of the most ancient and revered symbols. In ancient Egypt, the lotus was a sacred flower symbolizing purity, rebirth, and immortality. It appears in various forms in many Eastern carpets, having perhaps been introduced by the Mongols into Eastern design.
