Zangazur
This model is inspired by the stone engravings found in the Urud monument complex, located in the Garakilsa region of Zangazur Mahal—historically Azerbaijani-Turkish territory. The complex features Urud Castle, unique gravestones in the Urud graveyard, and other historical monuments. With their elegant artistic design, these structures reflect the beliefs of the ancient people who lived in the Zangazur area. Urud Castle stands on a sheer cliff, surrounded by the Bazarchay River on three sides and castle walls on the fourth. Locals say a secret underground tunnel leads to the river. Sadly, after Armenians settled in the Zangazur area, the name of the Urud complex was altered, parts were destroyed, and many ancient inscriptions were erased or modified.
