Shengulum

The international storyline of the tale “Shangulum, Shungulum, and Mangulum” has given rise to various interpretations, allowing the human struggle to be expressed in a playful and entertaining manner. This tale features a dynamic plot that emerged from early human thinking and a mythological worldview, subsequently adapted by different cultures. Even the title alone hints at the playful, sweet, and mischievous nature of the goat kids. In the Azerbaijani version, this playfulness and sweetness are emphasized, with the characters’ names reflecting these traits.
