Silk Embroidery
These cufflinks draw inspiration from the 17th-century “Ipak Tikma” (silk embroidery) of Garabagh, currently exhibited at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Embroidery is an ancient art form, closely linked to carpet making. Unlike weaving, it doesn’t require complex looms but demands exceptional technical skill, creativity, and a keen sense of taste and color. The historic lands of Azerbaijan boast a rich heritage of carpet weaving and needlework traditions.
