Kharibulbul

The design of the scarf is inspired by the Kharybulbul flower, a rare orchid species often associated with the Shusha region of Azerbaijan. Many beautiful stories surround this flower; it is said that this delicate bloom grows only in Shusha, Garabagh. One such story is as follows: “Wed to the Iranian Shah’s son, the daughter of the Garabagh Khan longed for her homeland. To ease her sorrow, the prince created a garden reminiscent of her home, planting all the trees and flowers native to Garabagh. However, despite his efforts, the Kharybulbul flower would not survive even a single day in a foreign land.”
