Phoenix

In 2016, Resm Jewelry hosted a children’s drawing competition called “My Painting” (“Mənim Rəsmim”), which resonates with the brand’s name. This exquisite piece is inspired by Najaflie Zeyneb’s “Phoenix” drawing, a contestant in the event. Zeyneb describes her creation as follows: “The Phoenix is an ancient symbol of kindness, new beginnings, and renewal in Azerbaijani mythology. Countless legends and stories surround the Phoenix bird. One of them is the ‘Malikmammad’ fairytale, which I have read. In this tale, the Phoenix assists Malikmammad, offering its feathers and saying, ‘Light it when you are in trouble, and I will come to your aid.'”
