Zangazur
This model draws inspiration from the intricate engravings found on stones that form a significant part of the Urud monument complex, located in the Garakilsa region of Zangazur mahal, historically Azerbaijani-Turkish land. The complex features Urud Castle, unique gravestones in the Urud graveyard, and other historical monuments. These artifacts, with their elegant artistic designs, reflect the beliefs of the ancient people who inhabited the Zangazur area. Perched on a sheer cliff, Urud Castle is surrounded on three sides by the Bazarchay River and on one side by castle walls. Locals speak of a secret underground path leading to the river. Unfortunately, after Armenians settled in the Zangazur area, the Urud complex’s name was changed, it suffered partial destruction, and many ancient inscriptions were erased or altered.
