Varamin

There are various interpretations of this motif. Some researchers believe it depicts birds roosting in a tree, while others describe it as a stylized eagle’s head. Another view suggests it originates from a split leaf design. This ornament is also known as “Varamin,” named after the town southeast of Tehran.
