Endless Knot

This piece draws inspiration from two motifs: the “endless knot” and “ram’s horns,” commonly featured in oriental carpets as a filler motif. It is particularly prevalent in Azerbaijani carpets, such as those with Talish borders and the Pirabedil design. The earrings are adorned with S-symbol motifs, believed to represent the funnelled flow of water. These symbols hint at an enhanced way of life or, alternatively, symbolize fertility and immortality.
