Kharibulbul

Many beautiful stories surround the Kharybulbul flower, said to grow only in Shusha, Garabagh. One tale goes: “Wedded to the Iranian Shah’s son, the daughter of the Garabagh Khan longed deeply for her homeland. To ease her sorrow, the prince recreated her homeland garden, planting every tree and flower native to Garabagh. Yet, despite his efforts, the garden lacked the Kharybulbul flower, which couldn’t survive even a single day in a foreign land.”
