The earrings’ design draws inspiration from the repetitive star medallions found in Ushak carpets. This ornament, reminiscent of snowflakes, is thought to originate from motifs used in the interior of the Blue Mosque in Tabriz, constructed by the Ak Koyunlu dynasty in 1465.
