Zeyva

This star medallion adorns the “Zeyva” and “Jam Jamli” types of carpets. While these carpets are prevalent in the Shirvan region, they are even more popular in the Northeast of Azerbaijan and Dagestan. The ornament is known as the “Caucasus star” or “Lezgi star.”
