Brahmaea Christophi – Butterfly
The Great Wine Hawk-moth, scientifically known as Clarina kotschyi, is a large and striking species of hawk-moth (family Sphingidae) found in parts of the Middle East and the Caucasus region. Found in forest edges, river valleys, mountainous regions, and gardens. In the South Caucasus, including Nakhchivan and parts of Iran, Turkey, and Armenia, it can be seen at elevations up to 1,800 meters. The Great Wine Hawk-moth is considered as an extremely endangered species
