Khankendi

Garabagh is known for its intricate silk embroideries and vibrant Azerbaijani folk dances, which reflect themes like hospitality, unity, and youthful spirit. The region is also home to the rare and ancient Garabagh horse, a prized mountain-steppe breed. Once central to local traditions, these horses were displaced from their native lands during the early 1990s due to Armenian aggression.
